PCU/Stepdown Nurse (RN)

Provide expert nursing care in an acute stepdown unit, focusing on comprehensive assessment, coordination, and evaluation of patients' needs.

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop coordinated care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs
• Deliver direct patient care with attention to physical and emotional well-being
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans
• Facilitate smooth transitions of care within the healthcare continuum
• Maintain timely, clear communication among healthcare providers and support systems

• Current CA Registered Nurse licensure (RN)
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a stepdown or similar acute care setting
