About the role

We are seeking an experienced product strategy professional to join Microsoft’s Experiences & Devices (E+D) Strategy team as a Senior Director.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy in the Era of AI: AI is transforming the practice of strategy.
  • Product Strategy: Proactively advocate for change to existing product strategies.
  • Resource Alignment: Inform allocation of resources to align with organizational goals.
  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Identify opportunities, threats, and potential investments.
  • Industry Foresight: Forecast transformative industry shifts and develop actionable plans.
  • Cross-Functional Project Leadership: Lead complex strategy projects.
  • Executive Trusted Advisor: Build relationships with CVP+ decision makers.
  • Software Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of commercial productivity tools, business applications, and competitive landscape.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Liberal Arts, Computer Science, or related field AND 8+ years strategy, product management, marketing, business planning, consulting, banking, investing, economics, and/or partner organization experience
  • OR Master’s Degree in Business Administration or related field AND 6+ years strategy, product management, marketing, business planning, consulting, banking, investing, economics, and/or partner organization experience
  • OR equivalent experience
