About the role
The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) team is looking for a Strategic Business Development Leader to drive strategy and execution for special access programs within the U.S. Department of Defense business. If you like to innovate to meet mission needs, we’d like to meet you. Your work will help the Department of Defense with modernization and transformation for the mission.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for special access programs
- Build and drive a robust pipeline specific to DoD special access program use cases
- Collaborate with industry partners to create holistic solutions for defense customers
- Engage internal teams across engineering, sales, marketing, and solutions architecture to deliver comprehensive cloud-enabled capabilities for special access programs
- Represent the company as a thought leader in the special access program space, shaping industry conversations, and influencing key stakeholders
Requirements
- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 5+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets
- Previous experience in a sales or business development role focused on the Department of Defense
- Previous experience supporting Special Access Programs on behalf of the Government or a DoD industry partner
- Ability to interact with DoD senior leaders
- Experience developing detailed go to market plans
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI
