Construction and Maintenance Project Supervisor

This position provides supervision to a team of pump technicians in the inspection, diagnostic, maintenance, and replacement of various styles of pumps that support both hatchery residents and the production of fish

• Supervise a team of pump technicians
• Assist Project Managers and customer programs
• Apply knowledge of pump tolerances
• Determine pump curves
• Participate in bid processes
• Develop maintenance and replacement schedules
• Monitor unit spending
• Remove, refurbish, and install pump bodies and motors
• Provide onsite inspection of components
• Respond to emergencies
• Lead in the assessment, troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, and replacement of fish hatchery production pumps

• Two (2) years of experience and completion of a recognized apprenticeship in at least two skilled trades
• Four (4) years of applicable work experience or vocational training
• Two (2) years of experience as a Construction and Maintenance Project Lead
• Five (5) years of experience in construction methods and cost of operations
• Five (5) years of experience in pumps, motors, well controls, and standby generator systems
• Five (5) years of experience in reading and interpreting specifications
• Five (5) years of experience in identifying priorities and coordinating staffing
• Intermediate computer skills with experience using Outlook, Word, Excel, and Microsoft Teams
