About the role
A school-based opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and monitor Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs tailored to students’ individual educational plans (IEPs)
- Provide consultation and training to teachers, staff, and families on behavior management and intervention strategies
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop positive behavior support plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure student progress and adjustment
- Maintain detailed documentation and data collection to inform treatment decisions and reporting
Requirements
- Active BCBA certification is required
- Experience working with school-aged children (K-12), including students with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental challenges
- Strong knowledge of behavioral assessment tools and intervention methods
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to engage educators, families, and support staff
- Ability to work full-time (37.5 hours per week) on-site
