Med-Surg Nurse (RN) - Overland Park, KS

This contract opportunity is ideal for a registered nurse with med-surg expertise seeking a focused role in a dynamic surgical specialty environment.

• Manage diverse equipment such as Alaris IV pumps, epidural CADD devices, telemetry, wound vacs, and capnostream machines
• Document patient care via the MediTech system
• Provide compassionate post-operative care and clinical proficiency
• Manage IV therapy, central lines, and blood administration
• Provide ostomy and wound management
• Provide nutritional supplementation, including TPN and G/J tube care

• Registered Nurse with med-surg experience
• Advanced post-operative care skills
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to work in a high-acuity setting
