Special Ed Teacher

A Special Education teaching opportunity is available in Hayden, CO, serving K-12 students with Mild-Moderate disabilities. This role focuses on providing significant support to students with cognitive impairments and other related disabilities, managing a caseload of approximately seven students. The position is offered as a contract for the current school year.

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to me diet theverse needs of students
• Collaborate effectively with related services staff to ensure comprehensive support for each student
• Provide specialized instruction and interventions to enhance student learning and development
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to support positive outcomes

• Valid Colorado Department of Education License as a Special Education Generalist
• Experience working with K-12 students with mild to moderate special education needs
• Ability to design, write, and implement IEPs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate services and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff
