Responsibilities
- Configure FSC case and insurance data model related objects with proper field-level security
- Engineer Omni-Channel basic routing with presence configurations and queue management for policy servicing, underwriting, etc.
- Build case management processes including automated case creation from policy events, etc.
- Develop custom Apex classes for insurance solutions where out of the box capabilities are not available
- Create automated workflows using Process Builder and Flow for operations, such as policy servicing, underwriting, etc.
- Build Lightning components for insurance-specific UI requirements
- Implement Salesforce Connect for accessing external insurance systems
- Build platform event subscribers for handling policy updates and insurance notifications
- Create REST callouts to third-party insurance services
- Configure Change Data Capture for specific insurance objects and downstream notifications
- Capable of building Apex REST services if necessary
- Implement API operations for large-scale policy data migrations and updates
- Create custom platform events for insurance business process notifications
- Configure streaming API monitoring for high-volume insurance processing
- Perform analysis, design, development, and configuration functions (includes defining technical requirements) with a high degree of accuracy and speed, operating as an individual contributor to team goals
- Perform analysis, assessment and resolution for defects and incidents of advanced complexity and escalate appropriately
- Work independently to tackle well-scoped and loosely scoped problems
- Seek opportunities to expand technical knowledge and capabilities
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced employees
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Four years of programming/development experience
- Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud & FSC Insurance expertise
- Experience with Salesforce integration and automation engineering
- Experience with API and Event Planning
