About the role

The CFWS Social Service Specialist 3 (SSS3) will perform assessments, deliver services, and conduct inclusive permanency planning for immediate family, extended family, kin, and children

Responsibilities

  • Performing visits in unregulated environments to conduct investigations for allegations of abuse and/or neglect
  • Assessing the safety of vulnerable children
  • Delivering services and conducting inclusive permanency planning for immediate family, extended family, kin, and children

Requirements

  • Six (6) years of paid social service experience
  • 30 semester or 45 quarter credits in a Social Service discipline
  • 30 semester or 45 quarter credits in a Social Service discipline
  • Two (2) years of paid social service experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in social services, human services, behavioral sciences, or any degree that includes 30 semester or 45 quarter credits in a Social Service discipline
  • Master’s degree in social services, human services, behavioral sciences, or any degree which includes 30 semester or 45 quarter credits in a Social Service discipline
  • One (1) year of experience as a Social Service Specialist 2
