About the role
The Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) is looking for a Cost Allocation Analyst (Management Analyst 4) to bring expertise in accounting, federal reporting, and cost allocation to support the Early Learning Cost Allocation and Federal Grants team.
Responsibilities
- Research, analyze, and monitor financial expenditures for assigned grants to ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and accounting principles.
- Manage and maintain the automated cost allocation plan for assigned grants.
- Complete federal reporting and federal claims for assigned grants within applicable federal systems.
Requirements
- Equivalent education and relevant professional experience with increasing levels of responsibility totaling six (6) years.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, or a related field, which includes 18 quarter or 12 semester hours in accounting, auditing, or budgeting, and five (5) years of relevant professional experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
