Teacher's Aide

This role offers the chance to collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and administrators to support students’ academic and personal growth in an inclusive environment.

• Assisting teachers with classroom instruction and activities
• Providing one-on-one or small group support tailored to student needs
• Supporting students with behavioral and social-emotional challenges
• Assisting with daily living skills and mobility as required
• Documenting and reporting student progress to supervising staff
• Promoting a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning atmosphere

• High school diploma or equivalent; some districts may require Associate’s degree or higher
• Illinois ISBE Para Educator License or willingness to obtain prior to start date
• Experience in school or childcare settings is preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
• Patience, flexibility, and enthusiasm for supporting children with diverse needs
