About the role

The Washington State School for the Blind is currently seeking a Project Residential Life Counselor (RLC)!

Responsibilities

  • Provide instruction in independent living skills
  • Complete daily reports
  • Supervise students
  • Create a safe and professional learning environment
  • Implement positive behavior management strategies

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of college with major emphasis in education, child development, or related subject
  • 6 months minimum experience working with children
  • 6 months minimum experience working with blind/low vision individuals
  • Valid state ID or driver's license, good driving record, and minimum age of 18
