About the role
The Washington State School for the Blind is currently seeking a Project Residential Life Counselor (RLC)!
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction in independent living skills
- Complete daily reports
- Supervise students
- Create a safe and professional learning environment
- Implement positive behavior management strategies
Requirements
- 1-2 years of college with major emphasis in education, child development, or related subject
- 6 months minimum experience working with children
- 6 months minimum experience working with blind/low vision individuals
- Valid state ID or driver's license, good driving record, and minimum age of 18
