About the role
This is a dynamic Travel Oncology Pharmacist position within a Cancer and Infusion Center, providing clinical care and operational support.
Responsibilities
- Assess therapy regimens for safety and appropriateness, including age-specific dosing
- Conduct clinical research and staff education
- Oversee sterile compounding and chemotherapy preparation
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and maintain medication inventory
- Develop and update department and nursing policies
- Standardize chemotherapeutic medication ordering
Requirements
- MA Pharmacist License (or eligibility)
- 5+ years of acute care clinical experience
- Strong sterile compounding skills required
- PGY1 Oncology Residency and BCOP certification strongly preferred
