Staff Pharmacist

A dedicated pharmacist opportunity is available for a Night Shift position in a community hospital setting in Plymouth, MA. This 13-week contract role offers a unique schedule of 7 nights on followed by 7 nights off, working from 9 PM to 7:30 AM, Thursday through Wednesday. The position requires expertise in inpatient pharmaceutical care with a strong focus on order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, and close collaboration with physicians and nursing staff. Familiarity with pharmacokinetics and working knowledge of EPIC systems is essential to excel in this role.

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Provide pharmaceutical consultations to physicians and nursing staff
• Manage pharmacokinetic dosing and adjustments as required
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records for communication and documentation

• Valid Massachusetts Pharmacist license
• Approximately 5 years of inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work independently during night shifts
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams
• Experience with EPIC or similar hospital IT systems
