About the role

The Branch Associate is responsible for receiving and preparing orders, as well as safely moving, loading, and delivering products. This position is also expected to provide customer service and operate tinting, mixing and color matching equipment, as needed. The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at Automotive Branch #9707 located at 8 Galloping Road, Round Rock, TX 78681. This is a part-time position. The work schedule will align with the branch's hours of operation of Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Specific working hours will be determined based on business needs and are subject to change. Job duties involve contact with customers, which may include minors; and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise and other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company’s customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the general public.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
  • Load and unload products from deliveries
  • Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services
  • Process sales transactions accurately and consistent with policies and procedures
  • Deliver products to the customer in a safe and timely manner
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
  • Ensure that the stockroom is organized
  • Operate tinting, mixing, and color matching equipment, as needed
  • Comply with inventory control procedures and assist with bi-annual inventory review

Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
  • Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, with or without reasonable accommodation
