• Delivers TDU curricula as assigned with the level of expertise required to achieve the learning objectives and performance outcomes.
• Serves as the Academy Coordinator as assigned.
• Work collaboratively with other instructors, curriculum staff and supervisors to adapt and deliver individual courses and training expectations to meet the needs of students.
• Work collaboratively with other instructors to train, coach, and mentor students towards knowledge and skill outcomes based on an integrated learning model.
• Continuously improve your knowledge and use adult learning theory principles, basic and essential instructional skills and effective management of the learning environment to provide students with the highest-level of quality training.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to present and facilitate training in front of large audiences.
• Ability to understand and deliver Adult Learning Theory training to adult learners for corrections.
• Two years' experience involving the teaching/training of adults.
• Minimum of two years' experience working in a corrections-related field including working with incarcerated individuals / or those under agency jurisdiction.
