These include emergency care, surgical services, lab work, primary and specialty care, imaging, spine health, womens and mens care, pediatric-friendly services, and moreall in one convenient location. AdventHealth Winter Garden is undergoing a major expanding that will add three additional floors to the hospital's patient tower and bring additional women's services to West Orange County. Our hospital tower expansion will be completed in 2026. The AdventHealth Winter Garden tower expansion will add 40 new progressive care unit beds, obstetrics and gynecology (including labor and delivery). One floor will be dedicated to labor and delivery, and will include nine labor, delivery, and recovery beds, 10 postpartum beds, two C-section operating rooms, and future space for a level two Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The tower's expansion will also add space for more operating rooms, and a shell floor with capacity for 40 beds. AdventHealth Winter Garden is conveniently located in the Winter Garden Village, minutes from beautiful downtown Winter Garden and nearby Walt Disney World and the premier attractions of Orlando. The role you'll contribute: Executes core and intermediate pharmacy technician duties across medication preparation, inventory management, sterile compounding, and controlled substance handling. Provides coverage in central, decentralized, and cleanroom environments, supports ADC operations, and assists with compliance documentation. Promotes medication safety, collaborates across care teams, and contributes to regulatory readiness. Supports training and mentorship of peers and participates in departmental quality improvement initiatives. The value you'll bring to the team: Executes core pharmacy technician duties with proficiency in standard workflows, hospital systems, and pharmacy operational programs under pharmacist supervision. Demonstrates proficiency in core pharmacy services, including medication dispensing, preparation, inventory management, sterile compounding, controlled substance handling, and regulatory compliance. Provides coverage across core pharmacy practice areas, including central/distributive operations, decentralized services, automated dispensing cabinet (ADC) management, and cleanroom compounding as assigned. Accurately prepares and safely dispenses patient-specific medication doses, ensuring correct drug, dose, dosage form, expiration dating, and barcode scanning. Compounds sterile medications such as IV solutions and piggyback containers under aseptic conditions, following USP <795> & <797> guidelines and institutional protocols, with appropriate oversight. Responsibilities
