About the role
Assist physicians with a variety of advanced interventional procedures including neuro, vascular, CT, and ultrasound-guided interventions.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with interventional neuro and vascular procedures using CT and ultrasound guidance
- Perform scrubbing duties as a first assistant to the physician
- Circulate during procedures, ensuring smooth operation of imaging equipment
- Film and charge exams within the electronic health record system
- Utilize specialized imaging systems including Siemens single and bi-plane equipment and McKesson PACS
Requirements
- ARRT (R) certification required
- BLS certification required
- RTR or RTRVI certification required
- KY Radiation Operator’s License must be obtained before start date
- 1 to 3 years of experience in Interventional Radiology with skills in Vascular Interventional Radiology (VIR)
