About the role

The Chemist position is responsible for leading activities related to new product development and the improvement of existing product lines within the Industrial Wood Group of the Performance Coatings Group

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects by leading product development and reformulation initiatives through to Commercialization
  • Generate timelines and achieve milestones set forth
  • Formulate through DOE – including making paint and working with various applications to optimize technology performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math field
  • 3 years of paint and coatings industry experience
  • Computer use and data analysis
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
