Oncology Pharmacist

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Pharmacist for a travel contract assignment in Pittsfield, MA. This role supports a Cancer and Infusion Center providing specialized clinical pharmacy services.

• Assess patient therapy for appropriateness, including age-specific modifications
• Perform clinical interventions to prevent adverse drug events
• Provide operational support and educational services for new treatment regimens
• Prepare and supervise the preparation of IV admixtures, chemotherapy, and sterile products
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
• Develop and update departmental and nursing policies
• Collaborate with the oncology team to standardize chemotherapy ordering procedures
• Maintain and manage medication inventory for oncology services

• Active Pharmacist License in Massachusetts (required)
• Minimum 5 years of acute care clinical experience (required)
• Ability to mix and compound chemotherapy/sterile preparations (required)
• Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency in Oncology (strongly preferred)
• Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) credential (strongly preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to work independently within established policies
• Capable of supervising support staff
• Reliable personal transportation (required)
