Staff Pharmacist

A healthcare facility in Oakland, CA is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join their team on a contract basis. This opportunity offers a commitment of approximately 32 to 40 hours per week, with an ASAP start and a 13-week assignment. The schedule includes variable days and afternoon shifts, each lasting 8 hours, providing a dynamic work environment.

• Accurately dispensing medications and managing prescription orders
• Ensuring compliance with all pharmacy regulations and safety standards
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
• Counseling patients on the correct use of medications and possible side effects
• Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records of pharmacy activities

• Valid Pharmacist licensure
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and ethics
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including variable days and afternoons
• Experience with prescription processing and pharmaceutical care
