Sr. Director, Network Pharmacy Product & Innovation at McKesson

Responsibilities

  • Develop and champion the long-term vision and strategy for new product lines, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and market dynamics.
  • Drive product discovery and innovation to identify unmet market needs and define new product opportunities.
  • Lead strategic planning and investment decisions, including build/buy/partner evaluations, based on rigorous market and performance analysis.
  • Responsible for Pharmacy partnership strategic identification and cultivation of relationships with 3rd party product partners.
  • Oversee the design and delivery of pharmacy network products and lead teams in development of new pharmacy products and services.
  • Oversee product portfolio management, ensuring rationalization and prioritization of products that deliver differentiated value.
  • Ensure products deliver measurable outcomes and value to customers, leveraging insights from Commercial, Data, and Customer Experience teams.
  • Maintain deep understanding of CoverMyMeds' market position and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
  • Partner with senior leaders across Product, Engineering, Commercial, and Corporate Strategy to align product roadmaps with organizational priorities.
  • Influence enterprise-wide initiatives and represent pharmacy product strategy in executive forums.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of Product Managers across multiple product and technical areas.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement, adapting team structure and capabilities to meet evolving business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
  • 13+ years of professional experience, including 6+ years of diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization, and people motivation skills (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven success in launching 0-to-1 products that effectively solve market painpoints and generate desired outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, especially pharmacy interactions with payers, providers, and manufacturers.
  • Expertise in product development methodologies (e.g., Agile), portfolio management, and lifecycle planning.
