Responsibilities

  • Deliver individualized instruction and support tailored to students with diverse learning needs.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with parents, general education teachers, and support staff.
  • Adapt curriculum content to meet the unique requirements of each student.
  • Utilize assessment data to track and communicate student progress effectively.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student growth and confidence.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support services.

Requirements

  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Experience working with elementary-age students in special education settings.
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students with a variety of learning challenges.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
