Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized instruction and support tailored to students with diverse learning needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with parents, general education teachers, and support staff.
- Adapt curriculum content to meet the unique requirements of each student.
- Utilize assessment data to track and communicate student progress effectively.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student growth and confidence.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support services.
Requirements
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
- Experience working with elementary-age students in special education settings.
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
- Ability to engage and motivate students with a variety of learning challenges.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
