Manufacturing Test Engineer, Global Manufacturing Engineering, Google Cloud

• Develop, enhance and sustain manufacturing test processes, tools and procedures for manufacturing operation of products to be deployed at Google Data Center
• Collaborate with the New Product Introduction (NPI) team, Design Engineers and Quality Engineers to drive continuous improvements to products and manufacturing processes
• Ensure the various pieces of Google’s infrastructure fit together perfectly and keep our systems humming along smoothly for a seamless user experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years of experience in Hardware Engineering or Test Engineering in manufacturing
• Experience in developing and integrating manufacturing test hardware using custom electronics, fixturing, and instrumentation
• Experience in driving improvement of test systems and processes to enhance efficiency and manufacturability
• Experience in design or test of GPU, blade server, and networking products, with a focus on board and system-level functional tests in manufacturing
• Experience coding in Python and Shell scripting, and familiarity with Linux operating systems
• Knowledge of test stations bring-up, incorporating proper validation methodology such as gage repeatability and reproducibility
• Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing issues collaboratively with the engineering team
• Ability to generate comprehensive test plans based on product specifications and execute testing procedures
• Ability to apply new technologies (e.g., automation, machine learning, and data analytics) to enhance manufacturing tests in efficiency or cost reductions
