Human Resource Consultant 1 (HRC1)

The Human Resource Consultant 1 (HRC1) provides first-level professional Human Resource (HR) consultation and advice to Juvenile Rehabilitation (JR) staff located at Green Hill School (Chehalis, WA) and Headquarters (Tumwater, WA)

• Consult with and provide advice to staff concerning HR-related procedures, guidelines, and policies
• Provides consultation to management regarding the initial stages of performance management, attendance management, and employee relations
• Explain and assist staff with the completion of HR-related documents
• Respond to HR inquiries from employees, managers, and members of the public
• Process all personnel/payroll actions for new hires, promotions, demotions, transfers, etc.
• Assist with processing and reviewing position allocation
• Review and maintain accurate data and updates on the tracking logs utilized by the HR team

• Four (4) years of work experience in an office or human resources setting, or related field
