Senior Software Engineer

• Design, implement, and operate resilient, planet-scale identity infrastructure that handles billions of authentication and authorization requests daily.
• Drive runtime efficiency through deep analysis of performance, cost, and reliability metrics across multi-region deployments.
• Lead architectural decisions for distributed systems that support service hardening, security compliance, and operational excellence.
• Partner with teams across Microsoft Security to integrate and evolve platform capabilities to meet evolving product and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor engineers, championing a culture of inclusion, engineering rigor, and continuous improvement.
• Participate in on-call rotations, live site reviews, and incident analysis to improve system health and team learning.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline
• 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including deploying, managing, and troubleshooting services in production clusters.
