About the role

The Lead Solution Architect role is responsible for providing technical leadership to cross-functional teams in the design and implementation of comprehensive system/product architectures

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance in designing and implementing highly complex, integrated frameworks, tech-stacks, systems, and platforms
  • Lead and oversee the entire process of developing application components and integrations
  • Develop and implement best practices and standards for processes and technical specifications related to hardware and software compatibility
  • Lead the effort to continuously research and analyze industry trends and emerging technologies to inform architectural decisions
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional teams
  • Provide strategic direction on the development of architectural frameworks, patterns, and standards
  • Provide technical expertise in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of next-generation technical initiatives
  • Provide guidance to the Product teams on the relevance and ability to leverage upcoming enhancements provided by our Cloud vendors
  • Lead the technical evaluation of new solutions to ensure alignment with existing frameworks and standards
  • Champion and guide the extended team to adopt and implement leading-edge design and architect practices
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration among a diverse range of stakeholders across the business to ensure that product and solution design align with architectural principles, policies, standards, and frameworks

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or in lieu of a degree, at least 10 years of experience in experience in IT
  • Expert-level architecture certification (e.g., TOGAF, CISSP)
  • 8+ years of experience in IT or a solution architecture role
  • Proven experience in designing complex hardware and software solutions for large-scale IT systems
  • Expertise in collaborating, communication, and presenting with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact business solutions
  • Extensive knowledge of modern architectural patterns, frameworks, and industry best practices
  • Expertise with cloud computing, data center operations, network design, and security best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to innovate and think creatively
