DSHS WSH Stationary Engineer 2 - Boiler Operator

The Department of Social and Health Services is looking for a Boiler Operator for the overall operation and maintenance of high-pressure boilers at Western State Hospital

• Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a high-pressure steam plant
• Operate one or more high-pressure boilers to maintain constant steam pressure and flow
• Test boiler room equipment for safe operation

• 3 years of experience in the operation, maintenance, and/or repair of stationary or marine high-pressure boilers and heating systems
• Certificate of completion of an advanced Stationary Engineer course from an accredited vocational/technical school or community college and 2 years of experience
• One year of State service as a Stationary Engineer 1
