Responsibilities
- Maintaining strategic and daily operational plans for Rides & Attractions within Technical Services Department
- Providing technical guidance for all attractions under responsibility
- Ensuring department understands and follows company policies and procedures
- Coordinates and assigns technicians to set up, install, repair, and maintain equipment and venue operations
- Maintaining documentation system for attractions and ensuring daily report completion
- Ensuring highest level of safety for Ride & Attraction equipment
- Providing technical guidance and mentoring to Ride & Attraction Technicians
- Performing technical oversight duties and taking technical responsibilities
- Overseeing technical interaction with attraction responsible engineers, vendors, subcontractors, and other relevant parties
- Developing open working relationship with specialty and general contractors
- Enforcing Ride & Attraction technical principles
- Supporting and advising senior management regarding engineering quality and potential risks
- Developing action plans for department's future successes including training programs, workforce planning, and rewards and recognition programs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- 5-7 years of day-to-day operation of a theme park, theatre, or related business required
- 5-7 years of operations management/team leadership experience required
- Ability and willingness to work weekends and holidays required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint required
