Adaptive PE Teacher

A full-time Adaptive PE Teacher position is available in a K-12 school located in Levittown, PA. This contract role runs through the current school year and requires onsite presence. The position is designed for educators passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs through specialized physical education programs.

• Developing and implementing adaptive physical education curricula tailored to K-12 students with varying abilities.
• Collaborating with special education teams to support individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting instructional strategies accordingly.
• Maintaining a positive, inclusive environment that encourages physical activity and skill development.
• Communicating regularly with parents, educators, and staff regarding student achievements and needs.

• Valid Pennsylvania Adaptive Physical Education certification, or a combination of Pennsylvania Special Education and Physical Education certifications.
• Experience working with K-12 student caseloads in adaptive or special education settings.
• Strong understanding of physical education techniques adapted to meet diverse student needs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
