Responsibilities
- Serve as the psychological consultant to the Interdisciplinary team
- Develop positive behavioral support plans
- Conduct psychological evaluations and comprehensive functional assessments
- Maintain oversight of all positive behavioral support plans and recommend changes as necessary
- Provide diagnostic assessments to clarify treatment needs
- Provide consultation and training to professional and direct care staff
- Ensure that all documentation is completed in a timely manner
- Provide clinical supervision to master’s level Psychology Associates
- Participate in clinical staff meetings
Requirements
- Ability to provide clinical leadership and direction to clinical staff and interdisciplinary team
- Experience providing treatment to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health and/or co-occurring disorders
- Ability to plan and develop effective behavioral intervention strategies
- Knowledge of diagnostic concepts for developmental disabilities and current treatment and intervention modalities
- Techniques for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of individual treatment plans
- Ability to work in a stressful environment
