About the role
The Compliance, Governance & Sustainability (CG&S) team within Microsoft Devices Operations strives to protect people and the planet by driving environmentally sound, socially just, transparent, and resilient business practices across our supply chain and products.
Responsibilities
- Lead ecolabel strategy and program
- Serve as the subject matter expert on ecolabels
- Partner with internal subject matter experts
- Deliver ecolabels
- Maintain deep knowledge of the product portfolio
- Define and execute ecolabel and sustainability communication plan
- Conduct cost/benefit and risk analyses
- Report status and risks
- Manage dependencies, budgets, and schedules
- Drive process improvements and change adoption
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Math, Business, or related field AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
- OR equivalent experience
- 2+ years of expertise in product sustainability and multicriteria ecolabels for consumer electronics
- 2+ years of experience managing projects involving multiple stakeholders
