About the role

The Compliance, Governance & Sustainability (CG&S) team within Microsoft Devices Operations strives to protect people and the planet by driving environmentally sound, socially just, transparent, and resilient business practices across our supply chain and products.

Responsibilities

  • Lead ecolabel strategy and program
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on ecolabels
  • Partner with internal subject matter experts
  • Deliver ecolabels
  • Maintain deep knowledge of the product portfolio
  • Define and execute ecolabel and sustainability communication plan
  • Conduct cost/benefit and risk analyses
  • Report status and risks
  • Manage dependencies, budgets, and schedules
  • Drive process improvements and change adoption

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Math, Business, or related field AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
  • OR equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of expertise in product sustainability and multicriteria ecolabels for consumer electronics
  • 2+ years of experience managing projects involving multiple stakeholders
