About the role
This role requires a dynamic individual adept at facilitating planning and status meetings among experts, actively identifying risks, resolving issues with stakeholders and executives, coaching teams to achieve workstream objectives, and ensuring seamless project execution from initiation to closure.
Responsibilities
- Define program scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Facilitate program team meetings and planning events.
- Create and maintain a program plan with workstream leaders that supports critical path analysis for key dependencies.
- Identify roadblocks early and manage mitigation individually.
- Track program progress, manage risks, and implement corrective actions.
- Communicate program status transparently with stakeholders.
- Ensure quality control, manage changes, and oversee workstream and program closure.
- Maintain GRC workflow configurations to support control performance, testing and reporting in the system of record for the program.
- Allocate and manage resources, leveraging program management software for analytics and budget adherence.
Requirements
- 7+ years of project management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of project management experience, with a focus on compliance.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge and practical application of Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and risk management skills.
- Ability to stand-up and support a smart PMO, leveraging technology and data-driven insights.
- Strong leadership with a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
- Adept at facilitating meetings and driving consensus.
- Comfort delivering real progress to executives and stakeholders to ensure thorough program alignment.
- Expertise in large-scale transformation programs in finance, IT, and/or compliance domains.
- Experience in leading project teams in designing and deploying compliance analytics to drive operational efficiencies.
- Proficient in project management tools (Jira, Wrike, Slack, Miro) and an understanding of how to connect them to data visualization tools.
- Advanced knowledge of data visualization design to create impactful reports and dashboards.
- PMP, CSM, or similar certification is a plus.
