About the role

Lead the design, development, and delivery of innovative software solutions that power our healthcare technology ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of innovative software solutions that power our healthcare technology ecosystem.
  • Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical designs and user stories.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and help shape McKesson’s technology roadmap.
  • Implement automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and ensure security, scalability, and performance of applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and production issues efficiently.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, evaluate new tools, and recommend best practices to enhance development processes.
  • Actively participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Proven experience with cloud platforms and modern frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead projects and mentor team members effectively.
