Special Ed Teacher

An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support elementary school students in Scottsdale, AZ. This contract position focuses on delivering tailored educational programs to meet the diverse needs of students requiring special education services.

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and parents to support student progress
• Monitor and assess student performance, maintaining accurate records
• Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience working with elementary-age students requiring special education
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation processes
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
