About the role
Teachers for the Visually Impaired (TVI) – Onsite Opportunities in Pennsylvania Full-Time | 2025–2026 School Year | Hourly Pay: $45–$60 Soliant Education is seeking dedicated Teachers for the Visually Impaired (TVIs) for multiple onsite positions across Pennsylvania for the 2025–2026 school year. We are hiring for both itinerant and campus-based roles with K–12 caseloads available in districts including Philadelphia, Scranton, York, and other locations statewide. Position Details: Full-time opportunities (37.5 hours per week) Onsite, in-person roles Hourly compensation ranging from $45 to $60, based on experience and location Contract position for the full 2025–2026 academic year Weekly pay through Soliant Education Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction and support to students who are blind or visually impaired Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families Conduct assessments and monitor student progress Travel between school sites (for itinerant positions) Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school district and state guidelines Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education for the Visually Impaired or related field Active TVI certification in the state of Pennsylvania (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple school sites (for itinerant roles) Benefits Offered: Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Weekly pay schedule Supportive recruiter and team throughout your assignment Apply Today: Interested candidates should apply now to be considered.
