Senior Software Engineer Manager

Microsoft’s Digital Trust & Safety (DigiTS) organization is hiring a Senior Software Engineer Manager to lead a talented group of Software Engineers, Data Scientists and Data Analysts.

• Guides team to align with broader organization goals and regulatory requirements, in partnership with stakeholders (e.g., project manager, technical leads, legal).
• Manages a team of Software Engineers, Data Scientists, and Data Analysts, to design, build and maintain infrastructure supporting DigiTS services and platforms.
• Guides team to drive multiple group's project plans, release plans, and work items in coordination with appropriate stakeholders.
• Guides others and acts as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) and guides other engineers across products, working on call to monitor system/product/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions.
• Seeks new knowledge that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale and shares knowledge with other engineers.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• OR equivalent experience.
• 3+ years people management experience, including hiring and managing highly skilled data engineers, providing mentorship, guidance and career development to members of your team.
