About the role
A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students at an elementary school in North Hollywood, CA. Responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions
- Monitoring student progress and adapting interventions as necessary
- Documenting all therapy sessions and reports in compliance with school and state regulations
- Participating in team meetings and parent conferences to share student progress and recommendations
Requirements
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Certification of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
- Experience providing speech and language therapy to elementary-aged children
- Strong understanding of evidence-based intervention strategies tailored to students' individual needs
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach
