Advanced Respiratory Therapist

Competently performs clinical patient assessment related to job title. Delivers therapy to patients including medicated aerosol treatments, EKGs and arterial blood gases. Manages oxygen therapy, performs adult and infant intubations, and manages mechanical ventilators per protocol or by following physician specific orders.

• Competently performs clinical patient assessment related to job title.

• Manages oxygen therapy, performs adult and infant intubations, and manages mechanical ventilators per protocol or by following physician specific orders.

• Graduate of approved respiratory therapy program prior to obtaining license or grandfathered in prior to licensure
• Basic computer knowledge including, word and excel, and computerized medical record documentation
• Mechanical and non-invasive ventilation knowledge
• Minimum of three years acute care hospital experience with one year minimum critical care experience
