Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and oversight on the federal acquisition process for federally funded transportation projects
- Ensure local agencies comply with state and federal regulations
- Provide high-level technical assistance, compliance monitoring, certification reviews, training, and project support to local agency staff
- Direct local agency engineering/technical staff who are on Approved ROW Procedures performing the Project Administration function
Requirements
- Thorough understanding of technical engineering practices, procedures, and standards relevant to federally funded transportation projects
- Knowledge of the right of way process, including eminent domain acquisitions
- Broad knowledge of appraisal, title, acquisition/negotiations, relocation, and property management as it relates to federally funded eminent domain transportation projects
