
Quality Control Fleet Manager - EMS

About the role
Under general supervision, the Quality Control/Fleet Manager coordinates the activities required to meet quality standards and oversees and maintains the working condition of the fleet of ground ambulances and equipment. Works with other departments and vendors ensuring supplies are available as needed for the smooth operations of the department. Works closely with the Operations Manager on budgetary needs and addressing safety concerns. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Promotes quality achievement and performance improvement within the department. Develops, implements, communicates, and maintains a quality consistent with quality system requirements. Defines comprehensive quality procedures in conjunction with front line team members. Formulates, documents, and maintains quality control standards and ongoing quality control objectives. Monitors performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports. Analyzes performance data against defined parameters. Identifies relevant quality-related training needs and delivering training. Provides technical and statistical expertise to teams. Assumes responsibility for professional growth and development. Attends educational offerings to remain current in area of expertise. Responsible for knowledge of best practice standards in the industry for patient safety and outcomes.

Requirements
- Associates degree required
- Bachelors degree preferred
- 3 years of work experience required
- Current active license in the State of Florida Licensed Paramedic (PARA) required
- Drivers License required
- Valid State of Florida Class D or Class E drivers license Upon Hire
- Emergency Vehicle Operations Course/Commercial Emergency Vehicle Operator (EVOC/CEVO) certification Upon Hire
- Medical Transport Leadership Institute (MTLI) certification Upon Hire
