PTA in West Hartford, CT

This role offers the opportunity to provide expert physical therapy services within two K-12 school locations in West Hartford, CT, supporting students aged 8 to 21.

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized physical therapy plans aligned with student needs and IEP goals.
• Provide direct therapy and consultative services across multiple school sites.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators and other therapists, to support comprehensive student development.
• Enhance students’ functional mobility, safety, and independence within academic and vocational settings.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress in compliance with school and state regulations.

• Valid Connecticut Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one prior to the start date.
• Experience working in school-based or pediatric physical therapy environments is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
