About the role
Responsible for the continual observation, documentation and communication of all cardiac rhythm strip monitoring in designated units, as ordered by the patients physician. Obtains, interprets, and documents cardiac monitoring data per standard, documenting per standard in the telemetry monitoring system. Documents change in heart rhythms per policy. Communicates changes in patients rhythm pattern and follows escalation process as applicable. Assesses and maintains telemetry equipment to ensure proper functioning. Enters all telemetry charges if applicable.

Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Medical terminology.
