5th Grade Special Ed Teacher

An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to work with 5th-grade students in an elementary school setting in Levittown, PA. This contract role supports a K-8 school, focusing exclusively on 5th grade with a diverse caseload of students exhibiting behavioral and emotional disabilities. The position implements both push-in and pull-out instructional methods to meet student needs.

• Delivering specialized instruction tailored to students with behavioral and emotional challenges
• Collaborating with team members to create and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Managing classroom behavior while fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Utilizing both push-in and pull-out teaching strategies to maximize student engagement and growth

• Pennsylvania Special Education certification preferred (Instructional I or II K-12 SPED)
• Emergency Special Education certification accepted with preference for candidates holding 2+ years of experience
