Special Ed Teacher

This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher to support high school students in a dynamic educational environment. The role involves delivering tailored instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities, promoting their academic progress and personal development throughout the school year.

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to accommodate students’ unique learning styles and abilities
• Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback to students, families, and staff
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and school staff regarding student performance and goals
• Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience working with high school students with special needs
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques and legal requirements related to special education
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
