About the role
We’re looking for a strategic, forward-thinking leader to join our team in the Regulatory Manager role.
Responsibilities
- Develop strong working relationships by serving as the lead contact with key internal business partners, state and federal regulatory agencies and external vendors.
- Identify process improvement opportunities in the filing process through rigorous analysis of current processes and key performance measures
- Develop and monitor commercial lines filing data including: Ensure data is accurate, consistent, and reliable throughout its lifecycle.
- Analyze key performance indicators to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement, providing actionable insights to support business decisions and strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and implement effective solutions.
- Develop and communicate data insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Reporting enhancements supporting filing execution against key performance indicators (KPI’s)
- Lead and develop improvement opportunities to improve speed to market/filing efficiencies including benefits to target goal
- Continuously monitor and assist in reviewing insurance statutes and regulations to determine changes to product design, development and filing requirements, and adjust current practices accordingly.
- Manage the optimization of regulatory tools and databases through consultation with vendors to incorporate the latest regulatory changes, industry standards and internal policy adjustments.
- Manage project resources to ensure successful delivery of multiple complex projects within scope, budget and timeline.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Five or more years of experience with demonstrated knowledge of regulatory/compliance requirements, processes and procedures, knowledge of insurance products within line of business, filing, and or related fields.
- Certification in one or more regulatory compliance or similarly recognized group such as ARC, AIRC, PIR, SPIR, CPCU, MCM, etc.
