About the role
The Practice Manager directs and supervises the day-to-day functions of assigned HCP Physician Practices in accordance with federal, state, local standards and Adventist Health Systems Corporate guidelines and regulations. The Practice Manager is responsible for carrying out all established policies including but not limited to revenue cycle management and human resources. The value you'll bring to the team: Manages offices in a cost-effective, efficient manner assuring that staff provides high quality care in a courteous and friendly atmosphere. Oversees the start-up of new physician practices, including newly recruited physicians and established community physicians, and assists with credentialing activities. Coordinates, monitors, and improves the operations of each practice, including flow management, documentation, training, staffing, and oversight of all provider practice operations. Coordinates the hiring process for practices, completes performance evaluations timely, and is involved in employee counseling, coaching, and termination per policy. Provides orientation for new employees and ensures compliance with department policy and procedure, maintaining high levels of employee engagement and job performance. Maintains current job descriptions and completes performance evaluations for each staff position in assigned practices, ensuring competency of staff. The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: Minimum qualifications: 2 years leadership experience Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Preferred qualifications: High School Grad or equivalent Bachelor's degree 2 years of supervisory experience in a physician practice Certified Medical Office Manager (CMOM) Patient care experience in a physician practice Billing and coding experience in a physician practice
