Custodian 1, On-Call, Walla Walla Veterans Home

• Provide custodial cleaning services in assigned areas, resident rooms, common areas, and office spaces.
• Vacuum and extract carpets as needed.
• Sweep and mop stairwells.
• Maintain baseboards free of dirt and wax buildup.
• Empty trash and maintain receptacles free of odors.
• Maintain clean privacy curtains.
• Perform various housekeeping and tasks.
• Clean floors throughout the facility and maintain clean and sanitary restrooms in resident, staff, and public restrooms.
• Keep toilets, urinals, sinks, and other fixtures clean and free of scale, film, and odors.

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to lift/push/pull frequently up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 70 lbs.
• Be proficient in the English language and be able to speak, read, and write English.
