Responsibilities Develops departmental goals that align with medical, administrative, legal, and ethical standards. Directs patient assessments, care plan development, service level determinations, and complaint management. Prepares and monitors budgets to ensure the department operates within allocated funds, while coordinating all internal and external audits. Plans and organizes all staffing activities, including hiring, orientation, performance evaluations, and continuing education initiatives. Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. Master's degree or combination of Bachelor's degree and experience preferred. Work Experience: 5 years of experience required. 10 years of experience preferred. 2 years of leadership or management experience required. 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred. Additional Preferences Prior Med Surg leadership experience. Indiana RN License required.
