Registration Representative

Registration Representative in an outpatient setting you will provide professional direct and indirect services to specific age groups in the outpatient rehabilitation settings.

• Responsible for scheduling and registering patients for physical, occupational and speech language pathology visits, while ensuring patient demographics, insurance and relevant clinical information is obtained.
• This position requires medical terminology, excellent phone skills and acute attention to details to ensure accurate and timely service is provided.
• This role explains financial responsibilities, authorizations/pre-certifications, and benefit limitations to facilitate timely and accurate billing and protect the financial standing of the hospital.
• This position actively participates in providing outstanding customer service, collaborates with partner departments and physician offices and maintains respectful relationships.
